Narda Holguin, who teaches Spanish and is a Language Acquisition Specialist at Pinkerton Elementary, was surprised on May 25 with the news that she is the recipient of the State Champion Award for the 2023 Title III Symposium by the Texas Education Agency for Region 20. Holguin is receiving this award for her work on behalf of Emerging Bilingual Learners.
