PSAT/NMSQT Scores for 10th and 11th Graders Available Dec. 11

  • Dear CISD Sophomore and Junior Learners and Families,

Sophomores and juniors who took the PSAT/NMSQT on October 16, 2019, will be receiving an email from the College Board with instructions on how to access their online score report. Scores will be available online on December 11, 2019, so these learners should be receiving their email from the College Board no later than that date.

For more information about accessing PSAT/NMSQT scores on Dec. 11, please visit:  https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt-psat-10/scores/getting-scores.

In Coppell ISD, one of our four core values is Redefining Success.  The full value statement states:

We value each individual’s contribution because success can be different for everyone.

With this value in mind, CISD honors the fact that our students should take coursework in which they have an interest and a passion for learning. Not every learner will or should take an AP course. However, if a learner chooses to do so, a service by the College Board called AP Potential utilizes a learner’s PSAT NMSQT scores to predict which AP courses align to their strengths. By using this no-cost service, your learner may determine his or her areas of strength and decide if an AP course is a good choice in their educational journey.

If your learner has an interest in AP courses and wants to utilize the AP Potential service, learners can view their detailed AP Potential feedback in the SAT Suite of Assessments Student Portal. This portal also provides access to free, personalized SAT practice and college/career planning resources.

If you have difficulties accessing your scores on the Student Portal on Dec. 11, please scroll to the bottom of https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt-psat-10/scores/getting-scores. There, you will find troubleshooting tips and a phone number to call for questions.

    Thank you,

    CISD Administration
