Mrs. Howard is beginning her sixth year as an Assistant Principal at Richard J. Lee Elementary. Before joining Lee Elementary, Mrs. Howard was a Digital Learning Coach in Coppell ISD for two years. As a classroom educator for five years, Mrs. Howard taught 4th grade, Head Start/Pre-K, and At-Risk reading and math for 3rd-5th grade.
Mrs. Howard obtained her Master's degree from Lamar University in Educational Administration in 2014. She did her undergraduate work at the University of North Texas earning a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior. She then went on to work in the corporate setting in recruitment and training and development for eight years before starting a family.
Mrs. Howard and her husband, Josh, both work in education and have one son. Mrs. Howard enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading a good book.
