Ms. Shepherd joined Coppell ISD in 2019. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2010 with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. She has since worked as a nurse in general pediatrics and as a charge nurse in acute care med-surg. Chelle and her family spent 5 years overseas living in Wales where she was a care assistant in several nursing settings. Most recently she worked on the Pulmonology unit at Children's Medical Center in Dallas. Ms. Shepherd and her husband, Tyler, have 2 children--Aspen and River. In her free time, Chelle enjoys traveling, playing music and riding bicycles with her family.
