As they say, "I wasn't born in Texas, but got here as fast as I could. "

I have called Coppell home for 20 years now.  We live in the Lakeside school zone and have enjoyed it immensely.  My children have all attended Lakeside!  I've come to realize there's no place I'd rather live.  My favorite things about Coppell are the friendly caring people, the weather, our community diversity, southern traditions and food, especially grits and tea.

I grew up in Pennsylvania and attended college in Ohio.  I received a Bachelor of Science from Miami University (Ohio) and a M.Ed. from Xavier University.  In addition to my teaching credentials, I'm also certified in ESL and Special Education. 

I'm looking forward to my 16th year of teaching and getting to know the families of 3B.  This year, I am a specialist in science and social studies for the children of 3A, 3B and 3C.  It is a thrill to be able to teach some of them again.  We were together in Kindergarten 3 years ago.  How time flies.
