• NTH@C Sends 14 DECA Competitors to State
     
    Congratulations to fourteen learners from New Tech High @Coppell who placed in the Top 10 during their first-ever Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) competition last weekend in Garland. A well-attended event, the conference attracted over 800 learners with team and individual categories including hospitality services, travel and tourism, marketing, management, finance, and more. Success in Garland earned them an opportunity to compete at the state DECA conference in late February.

    Maddy Shay and Maria Benavides - Buying and Merchandising Team
    Rebekah Penton and Alex DeMasters - Travel and Tourism Team

    Ricky Bengani - Entrepreneurship Participating - Independent Business Plan
    Luke Armstrong - Apparel and Accessories
    Rebecca Carroll - Principles of Finance
    Nimisha Jain - Principles of Marketing
    Travis Sadler - Principles of Business Management
    Kirsten Massaviol - Principles of Hospitality

    Additionally, Maggie Sproul campaigned for a District Officer position for the 2015 - 2016 school year, and she earned the spot of Vice President of District XI DECA for next school year!
