Steffany Batik is in her third year as principal of New Tech High @ Coppell. Steffany is in her 16th year in education, having served 9 years as a social studies teacher and debate coach at Colleyville Heritage High School. While at Colleyville Heritage, Steffany taught: AP Psychology, AP Human Geography for Gifted and Talented, Sociology, Government, and Debate. Steffany spent 4 years at Grapevine High School where she was the Associate Principal of Academics.
As a lifelong learner, Steffany is currently enrolled in courses at the University of Texas Arlington for a Superintendent Certification program and was also recently named an ASCD Emerging Leader for the class of 2016.

Raheela Shaikh is in her third year as Assistant Principal of New Tech High @ Coppell. This is Raheela’s 13th year in education. She has 7 years experience as the Humanities Coordinator (K-12), with her last 2 years as a principal intern, at an American curriculum, accredited private school in Dubai, UAE.
Raheela is certified in English, Language Arts 8-12 and has taught courses in AP English Literature, AP English Language, Women in Literature, and IB English for the Diploma Program. She has a Bachelors of Arts in English from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Masters in Education from Liverpool Hope University, United Kingdom.
